Explore Prince Edward Island by foot, bike and kayak as you uncover the landscapes, traditions and coastal life that define this maritime province. Walk scenic sections of the Island Walk and cycle the Confederation Trail, taking in red sandstone cliffs, quiet farmland and sweeping ocean views. In Prince Edward Island National Park, discover rare dune systems and coastal ecosystems with naturalists who explain how wind and water continue to shape the island. A highlight of the program is a sea-to-table experience in St. Peter’s Harbour, where you’ll kayak across a sheltered bay with a former provincial oyster biologist to learn how oysters are cultivated before enjoying a tasting. Along the way, explore Charlottetown’s historic streets and gain insight into the cultures, industries and traditions that shape life on Prince Edward Island.
