Whether participating on a program in the United States or on one of our International programs, every Road Scholar participant receives coverage under our Road Scholar Assurance Plan. This plan is purchased by Road Scholar on behalf of every participant.
Designed for Road Scholar participants, Road Scholar Assurance Plan provides 24-hour assistance in the event of an emergency during your program and insurance for emergency medical evacuation. The plan includes travel insurance benefits underwritten by Arch Insurance Company and assistance services provided by LiveTravel Assist. Here are some highlights:

How to Protect Your Program Investment
Please note that the Road Scholar Assurance Plan does not provide cancellation, interruption or travel delay insurance benefits. If you'd like to protect your investment, we do offer a separate and optional Road Scholar Trip Protection Plan. Similar plans are also available through other sources.
