David Crowe worked in education for more than 40 years, teaching history and physical education, and serving as a vice principal. He has a degree and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in history. Following retirement in 2014, he returned to the classroom to teach history at the International School of Monaco. David lives between the UK and the south of France, following his passion for adventure, skiing, climbing, sailing, and cycling. David has led Road Scholar programs since 2015, mainly in Scotland and Scandinavia.
Robin MacGregor is a long-standing expert on Scotland, having led visitors around his home country for many years. He was educated at Edinburgh University, and is passionate about Scottish history, Scotland’s role in the Great War, and genealogy. He has also worked as a World War I battlefield expert, and has substantial experience in the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland.
