Set sail on the Columbia River for a voyage through natural wonders and human history with minimal exertion and maximum learning! Voyage along lush forests and rugged mountains and admire engineering achievements like locks and dams that make traversing the river possible. On comfortably paced field trips, trace the route of Lewis and Clark and explore the historic landmarks of Portland — the “City of Roses” — and the streets of Spokane. Join experts at renowned museums to learn about the geology, flora and fauna of the Columbia River, and discover the long history of human settlements in the area on a voyage through time and natural treasures.
Best of all, you'll...
  • Experience the magnificence of Multnomah Falls, Oregon’s tallest waterfall at 620 feet tall.
  • Explore the historic sites of the Lewis and Clark expedition, including Fort Clatsop, a replica of the fort built by the expedition where they spent the harsh winter of 1805-1806.
  • Learn about the natural and human history of the Columbia River through visits to the Columbia River Maritime Museum and the Sacajawea State Park Interpretive Center.
