As we will before each performance, we'll board our motorcoach and depart from the hotel at 7:15 p.m. for tonight's performance of Giacomo Puccini's "La Bohème" (sung in Italian). Set in 19th-century Paris, "La Boheme" revolves around the lives of six young Bohemians who lead "charming and terrible lives." Living hand-to-mouth in Latin Quarter garrets, they find love, joy and sorrow in a rapidly changing society. Jader Bignamini conducts, with Mario Chang as Rodolfo, Vanessa Vasquez as Mimi, Solomon Howard as Colline, Will Liverman as Schaunard, Kirsten MacKinnon as Musetta and Zachary Nelson as Marcello. We expect to return to the hotel at approximately 11:00 p.m.
