All Hands on Deck: Maintaining the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor

After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

The USS Missouri Memorial Association, the entity that will provide the volunteer, educational programming on the ship and the encampment, is required by its insurance carrier to obtain a signed liability release waivers, specifically the USS Missouri Memorial Association Encampment Program Waiver and Release Form, and the Mighty Mo Volunteer Application, from all program participants. Participants must sign both liability waivers prior to participating in this program. These waivers will be included in the program preparatory materials participants will receive after enrolling in the program and must be returned to Pacific Islands Institute prior to the program’s commencement. Participants must also complete the Skills Questionnaire for volunteer project planning purposes and assignments.

United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.
