Vicky Papantoniou was born in Athens, Greece. She studied History and Archaeology at the National University of Athens and earned a master’s degree. In Florence, Italy, she studied Italian Religious Art of the Renaissance, and was licensed as a lecturer and guide. She also received a degree in Academic Theology at the University of Athens. Vicky has worked with Road Scholar for 15 years. She is an artist and has pained Byzantine Icons since she was a teenager. She speaks Greek, English, Italian, and French.
Konstantina Griva has been working as a licensed guide and group leader in Greece since 2011 and likes sharing what make Greek culture one of the most appreciated across the world. Born and raised in Athens, she received her degrees in History and Archaeology at the University of Athens and Tourist Guiding at the National Guides' School, where she teaches currently. Konstantina speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese as well as Greek. She also loves traveling abroad and exploring new places on her own.
Maria Argyraki, an experienced member of the Association of Greek Licensed Tourist Guides, joined the Road Scholar Group Leader team in 2011. Born and raised in Athens to a family of Ottoman Greek refugees, she has studied, traveled, and worked in the U.S.A, the U.K, France, Turkey, and Japan. Dedicated to sharing her knowledge of history and culture and hosting travelers in a most personable manner, Maria is also an awarded literary translator. She is currently working on two historical novels of her own.
Evi Karachaliou graduated from the University of Crete with a degree in tourism. She then continued her education to become a licensed Greek guide. For the last nine years, she has worked with many groups from the United States exploring on small cruise ships and buses. She is passionate about her work and strives for the groups she leads to leave Greece with unique experiences and memories.
Stefania Vampoula has a strong interest in history and cultural diversity. She earned an undergraduate degree in history and archaeology, as well as a master's in art history. In 2014, she became a licensed group leader in her native Greece. Since then, she has worked with English-speaking groups from around the world. Stefania is fluent in Greek and English, and has lived in Poland and Scotland. Her passions involve art, travel, and food.
Samara Stavroula has a bachelor's degree in sociology from Panteion University, where she has also been a professor. She is currently leading groups throughout Greece and the Greek islands. She is fluent in Greek, English, and Dutch and enjoys providing educational and entertaining experiences making Greek history come alive for all her groups.

Keep the Pace
Walking up to three miles per day; uneven and inclined terrain including hills, stairs without railings and cobblestone streets. Getting on/off motorcoach and climbing in/out of tender.
