Create once-in-a lifetime experiences with your grandchild in this fun-packed adventure, filled with cultural treasures and natural wonders of four Hawaiian Islands. Explore the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, recently opened after the 2018 eruption. Learn about the unique tropical rainforests and coastal ecosystems. Immerse yourselves in the historical significance of Pearl Harbor and its rich meaning to Hawai’i. Zip line through the forest canopy, and learn how to ride the waves together by surfboard and/or outrigger canoe. Get a little muddy in the loi kalo (taro terrace) as you discover how to harvest this tropical plant, then top it all off with a luau dinner!

Outdoor: Spirited
Walking two miles over uneven varied terrain, stairs. Climbing in and out of water on beaches, flat rock surfaces and a boat. Get on/off bus several times a day. Elevations up to 4,100 feet.

General Notes

Program is for grandchildren ages 10-14. Snorkeling equipment included, however, personal snorkeling gear encouraged for best fit. Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.
