Activity Level
Explore three of Italy’s most influential cities through art, architecture and shared inquiry, alongside women drawn to history, ideas and conversation. Rome, Florence and Venice shaped Western thought, art and civic life in lasting ways. This women-only journey approaches these cities as living records, revealing how power, belief and creativity evolved across centuries. In Rome, preserved ruins and layered neighborhoods trace the city’s rise from republic to empire, while expert-led lectures place monuments within political and social context. Florence’s museums and architecture showcase Renaissance innovation and patronage. In Venice, civic spaces, markets and neighborhoods reveal a city shaped by trade and geography, providing rich material for reflection and shared discussion. Throughout the journey, expert insight combines with time for observation, conversation and independent exploration.
Best of all, you'll...
  • Examine Rome’s ancient sites and collections with local experts, pairing ruins and artworks with historical context.
  • Study Renaissance art and architecture in Florence at the Duomo, Accademia and Uffizi.
  • Explore Venice’s civic and commercial history at San Marco, the Palazzo Ducale and Rialto, and experience the city from the water by gondola.
