On the western shore of Lake Michigan sits Milwaukee, where miles of public beaches share the waterfront with the stunning, Calatrava-designed Museum of Art and parkland whose signature events earn Milwaukee the nickname “City of Festivals.” Head into the city proper and you’ll encounter an energetic metropolis with an exciting food scene, world-class entertainment venues, charming neighborhoods and standout architecture from the city’s 19th-century boom years. Eighty miles west is the university town of Madison, situated on an isthmus bordered by three different lakes. As Wisconsin’s intellectual hub, Madison attracts the kind of cultural diversity and artistic energy that are the envy of cities 10 times its size, against a backdrop of Midwestern charm. Explore these gems with us!
Best of all, you'll...
  • Experience Milwaukee landmarks including the Museum of Art, the Pabst Mansion and the multi-domed Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory.
  • Enjoy a docent-led walk through Madison’s striking capitol building and explore Taliesin, the nearby home of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
  • Delve into two icons of the Wisconsin economy, brewing and cheese-making.
