In Nepal, spirituality is not just history — it’s a living, breathing part of the landscape. This singular learning adventure begins in the Kathmandu Valley, with its vibrant blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, where you’ll learn from local experts about a culture where gods are believed to walk among mortals. From there, journey across the country to the tranquil plains of Lumbini to trace the origins of a global philosophy. With a veteran mountaineer, discover the allure of the world’s highest peaks, then trek through Himalayan foothills yourself. This is a journey of profound contrasts — from the energy of ancient cities to the quiet of a jungle safari and the deep peace of a mountain trail — all shared with a small group of fellow learners.
Best of all, you'll...
  • Engage with Nepal's rich culture, from the Newari artisans of the Kathmandu Valley to the Indigenous Tharu villages of the plains and the legendary Gurkha heartland in the Himalayan foothills.
  • Journey to the sacred site of Lumbini to stand at the birthplace of Lord Buddha and delve into the origins of one of the world's great philosophies with an expert scholar.
  • Explore Nepal’s stunning natural diversity, from a trek through Himalayan foothills with breathtaking views of the Annapurnas to a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park in search of rhinos and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger.
