Duration
1 hour
Ancient Greek theater was central to Greek culture, intertwining religious rituals with social life. From early wooden structures to stone theaters built on hillsides, these venues brought people together to experience stories that reflected their world. Attending the theater was a communal activity, deeply woven into the social, political and religious rhythms of the time. Join Eleni Petroutsou, a local expert, to explore how this ancient tradition shaped modern drama.
