Join historian Oscar Oviedo Velasco for an enlightening journey into the Cosmovision of ancient Andean civilizations — essentially their unique lens for interpreting the universe. Long before the rise of the Inca Empire, the early Peruvians attuned themselves to the natural world around them. Through this deep connection, they discovered sustainable ways of living, as guided by the signs and wisdom offered by Mother Earth and the gods of the upper realms. In this lecture, you'll gain a new perspective on how ancient Andean societies engaged with their world, long before the Spanish conquest altered their way of life.
