Adventures Online: Exploring the Religions of the World

Delve into the origins and traditions of the world’s five major faiths — Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism — during a fascinating, five-day online learning adventure. With Dr. Brian Carwana, religion expert and Executive Director of the Encounter World Religions Centre, spend each day studying a new religion and engaging in discussion with other religious instructors who offer a look into their own faith and beliefs. Learn how each religion has changed through time and what it means to be a modern-day follower. Throughout your learning adventure, get to know your fellow Road Scholars as you engage together in thoughtful discussion and Q&A sessions.

You’ll enjoy 2-3 hours of daily instruction, discussion and/or field trips, which includes sufficient breaks throughout the program. This online program is through Zoom, an easy-to-use web video service that includes closed captioning. All you need is an Internet connection and your computer. We’ll provide a how-to guide to make sure you’ll have a hassle-free experience.
