Intrepid women, this is the program for you — a two-week safari to some of the most spectacular preserves on Earth. From the Serengeti Plain to the shores of Lake Victoria, the Maasai Mara to the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll go in search of the majestic creatures in Africa — lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhinos and more. You’ll stay in deluxe safari camps and lodges, experience local culture, head out each day on expert-led field trips, and return for fascinating lectures and reflections on what you’ve witnessed. In the midst of a herd of elephants in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, or watching a cheetah hit its stride on the open plain, you’ll have to pinch yourself to be sure it’s all real.
Best of all, you'll...
  • Encounter iconic African animals — elephants, giraffes, rhinos, lions, zebras and more — in their native habitats.
  • Gain insights into local life in fishing and farming villages.
  • Explore diverse ecosystems from the Serengeti Plain to Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Victoria.
General Notes
All dates have a 12-person maximum. Each participant will have a window seat in one of the two safari vans; there will be one Group Leader who will share time between the two vehicles.
