Feel the mist of Niagara Falls up close and soar high above the swirling Niagara Whirlpool in a vintage Aero Car. Stand together at the brink of one of the world's great natural wonders.

Walking up to 4 miles per day at a moderate pace of 2 mph over pavement. Standing up to 4 hours per day. Program will require approximately 8 miles of walking over 6 days. Must be able to use stairs in order to navigate field trip sites. Getting on/off a motorcoach and boat. Public transportation is used as transportation for field trips in Toronto and can be crowded, require standing, and require unavoidable use of stairs. Must be physically capable of participating in all planned program activities.

Bruce Bell — journalist, author, playwright, actor, curator — brings an incredible passion and enthusiasm for the history of Toronto and its architecture. He has been the monthly history columnist for Canada’s largest community newspaper since 1999 and has also been appointed as historian for many famed Toronto sites. Bruce is the author of “Amazing Tales of St. Lawrence Neighbourhood” and “Toronto: A Pictorial Celebration.” His mission is to tell Toronto’s history through his writings and lectures, including his sold-out shows at Toronto’s famed Winter Garden Theatre.
Jim Hill has been with The Niagara Parks Commission—an organization dedicated to preserving historic sites along the Niagara River, including Old Fort Erie, the Laura Secord Homestead, the Mackenzie Printery, and McFarland House—since 1996. Jim also worked for Parks Canada and the Friends of Fort George, holds a private pilot’s license, was a Captain in the Reserve Army, and lives with his wife Jeannie and two children in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Rebecca Pascoe has been working in the heritage sector for over 25 years. A member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals, she studied at the University of Guelph before receiving her master's degree at the University of Waterloo. Rebecca has spent time with Parks Canada and the City of Niagara Falls, and came to Niagara Parks in 2006. She works to show that, in a fast-moving world, even those things which could easily be forgotten still have worth.
