Naturalist leads discussion and provides interpretation during four full days in the field for exploration of diverse habitats and steaming geyser basins.

Learn About Activity Levels
Walking up to 2.5 miles per day at a moderate pace of 2 mph over established trails, rocky and uneven terrain, asphalt paths and boardwalks. Standing up to 1 hour per day. Program will require approximately 8 miles of walking over 4 days. Coach buses are used for transportation and require up to 200 miles and 4.5 hours with breaks. Program covers nearly 600 miles. Elevations begin at 5,260 feet and go up to 9000 feet. Must be able to handle your own luggage for 3 accommodation transfers. Must be physically capable of participating in all planned program activities.
