The natural beauty of Georgia’s most storied barrier island provides the idyllic backdrop for an instructive foray into the game of bridge. This class will feature more complex concepts for the advancing player. After discussing several aspects of notrump bidding, the instructor will focus on concepts such as "help suit game try," defensive signals, executing an endplay and variations in major suit limit raises. Join expert instructors to refine your bridge skills, and walk away with new strategies and strengths.

General Notes

The Advancing course requires basic familiarity with Stayman and transfers, opening bids and responses, overcalls and advances, takeout doubles, and defensive signals, plus the fundamentals of declarer play. You may also be interested in "Intermediate Bridge at Historic Jekyll Island Club" (#11602) for a less advanced bridge experience.
