A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at The Kenrick in Banff, Alberta

Start of Trip:  4:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 6:00 p.m. Welcome Dinner; 7:30 p.m. Orientation.

Getting to the site: This program includes airport transfers for all participants to get you to the start of your program. The arrival transfer is available to ALL enrolled participants at no extra charge. The group transfer to the arrival hotel will depart Calgary International airport (YYC) at 3:00 p.m.; approximate arrival at the hotel in Banff is 5:00 p.m. Meet your Group Leader at Meeting Place “A” on the Domestic Arrivals Level at the extreme eastern end of Calgary airport building. There is a large circular red sign with “Meeting Place” and a large, white “A” in the middle of the sign. Meet your group leader between Doors 1 and 2 (inside the terminal), near the escalators. On this program, transfers are only available on the scheduled start date and time. If you should miss the transfer, regular shuttle service between the Calgary Airport and Banff can be arranged with Banff Airporter. Your trip ends on: Tuesday, June 15, 2027 in Calgary, Alberta at The Westin Calgary

End of Trip: 8:00 a.m. after breakfast; 12:00 Noon hotel check-out.

Getting to the airport: Independent travelers are responsible for arranging their own transfers from the last hotel to the Calgary International Airport (YYC). Please see the following options: Checker Cabs are available from the last hotel to the Calgary International Airport by calling 403-299-9999. Calgary offers public transportation from downtown Calgary to YYC Calgary International Airport via the 301 bus route for approximately $3.40 CAD.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: This program includes a complimentary arrival shuttle between the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the arrival hotel at the start of the program for all participants. Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements on the final day of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details about the complimentary arrival shuttle and suggestions to help make your transfer arrangements at the conclusion of the program. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call 800-241-1404. Please Note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
