Max Put
After studying painting and graphic art and working as an artist, Max Put attended Leiden University and earned a master’s in art history. In 1995, while still at university, he started giving talks on Dutch art and culture. He has been a charismatic figure leading Road Scholar groups for more than 15 years.

In 1995, while still at university, he started giving talks on Dutch art and culture. He has been a charismatic figure leading Road Scholar groups for more than 15 years.
Ronald Groenendyk
View biography
Ronald Groenendyk, originally from the Netherlands, lives in New York and has been working as a group leader there since 2019. For 18 years before that, he was the director of the travel emergency assistance office of ERGO Travel and International Health Insurance, supporting travelers and expatriates in North America and eventually South America as well. He first started working as a group leader in the Netherlands and in Southeast Asia immediately after finishing his degree at the University of Amsterdam.
