Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. hotel check-in: 5:30 p.m. Orientation; 6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner.
Getting to the site: A taxi from the airport to the hotel should typically cost approximately DKK 300-400, a journey of approximately 5 miles that will take about 20 minutes.
Metro line M2 runs from the airport to Kongens Nytorv, a journey taking approximately 15 minutes with 4-5 departures per hour; the fare is typically DKK 36-40. The hotel is located approximately 1700 feet from the subway station. Upon leaving the station, take the pedestrian crossing across the street to the front of the Royal Danish Theatre then follow the road northeast, passing Kunsthal Charlottenburg, and the Memorial Anchor in front of Nyhavn. Continue straight on along Bredgade, where the hotel is located on the left after approximately 800 feet (shortly after a statue of Christian X on horseback on the right).
Getting to the site by train or bus: Danish Railways run from the airport to København H station, a journey of 13 minutes with departures every 10 minutes.
Bus route 5C runs to the Hovedbanegården Tickets should typically cost DKK18 and DKK25 for a journey of approximately 35 minutes

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
