A signed Parental Consent form is required for this program. The form must be signed by both parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of the child participating in the program and returned to the program provider prior to the start of the program. You will receive the form as part of your program information packet. You will also be able to access the form through your online account.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense in Odense

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in: 5:30 p.m. Orientation; 6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: Trains run directly from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Odense Station several times per hour, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The train station is located directly beneath Terminal 3 at the airport and is easily accessible by elevator or escalator from the arrivals area. A one-way ticket to Odense should typically cost approximately DKK 350–450 per person. Upon arrival at Odense Station, Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense is located approximately 0.5 miles from the station. A taxi from the station to the hotel should typically cost approximately DKK 80–120, with a journey time of about 5 minutes. Participants may also choose to walk to the hotel in approximately 10–15 minutes.

Getting to the site by train or bus: Danish Railways run from the airport to København H station, a journey of 13 minutes with departures every 10 minutes. Bus route 5C runs to the Hovedbanegården Tickets should typically cost DKK18 and DKK25 for a journey of approximately 35 minutes

Your trip ends on: Sunday, August 15, 2027 in Copenhagen at Imperial Copenhagen

End of Trip: 10:00 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out.

Getting to the airport: A taxi from Imperial Hotel Copenhagen to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) should typically cost approximately DKK 250–350, a journey of approximately 6 miles that will take about 20–25 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Trains run directly from Copenhagen Central Station (København H) to the airport, a journey taking approximately 15 minutes with frequent departures throughout the day. Metro line M2 also runs directly to the airport from nearby metro stations in central Copenhagen, with departures every few minutes and a journey time of approximately 15–20 minutes depending on the departure station.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Road Scholar no longer offers complimentary transfers participants with “Program Only” status. However, the Arrival transfer on this program is an exception to the policy due the distance to the first hotel. If you are arriving early or booked your own air, there is a possibility to reserve a seat on the group arrival transfer. Please note if you are arranging your own air, your flight should arrive no later than 11:00 a.m. in order to ensure that you will be able to join the transfer. The Final Information Packet, which is released 6 weeks prior to the program start date, will include instructions on how to reserve your space on the transfer. Reservations for the arrival group transfer are only available after you have received the Final Information Packet, but no later than 30 days prior to the program start date. Transfer times will vary from departure to departure. There is no guarantee that the transfer schedule will coincide with independently booked flights. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
