Passport to Southeast Alaska: By Hiking Boot, Kayak & Boat

After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

Above and Beyond Alaska Wilderness Trips, the entity that will provide hiking and a canoe paddle trip during the program, Alaska Mountain Guides & Climbing School Inc., the entity that will provide the hiking, and rafting trips during this program, Gastineau Guiding Company, the entity that will provide a hiking trip, Glacier Bay Sea Kayaks and SEAK Expeditions, two entities that will provide a kayaking trip, and Juneau Food Tours, the entity that will provide the walking food tour are required by their insurance carriers to obtain signed liability release waivers from all participants who participate in these activities. Please carefully review all waivers prior to the start date of the program and reach out if you have any questions or concerns. All participants will be signing these waivers on-site during the program. In order to be prepared for your upcoming program, we need to collect some additional gear sizing along with a meal selection. For your convenience, we have created an online form that can be filled out on any mobile device or computer. The link can be found in the Recommended Websites section of your pre-program information packet. We expect it will take less than 10 minutes to complete. At the bottom of the form there is a submit button.

United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.
