After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

Squid Acres Kennel and Chena Outdoor Collective, the entities that will provide the dog mushing demonstration and reindeer lecture and experience during this program, are required by their insurance carriers to obtain signed liability release waivers from all participants who participate in this activity. Copies of both of these waivers have been provided as attachments in program preparatory materials, for participant review. Participants will sign the Chena Outdoor Collective waiver electronically on the first day of their program. A specific link to the Squid Acres Waiver will be provided via email 30 days prior to the start of their program so they may sign it electronically. We encourage all participants to sign this waiver prior to the start of their program. If participants have trouble accessing or filling out the waiver, there will be opportunities to complete it when the program is in Denali.

United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

This program travels through remote locations where medical facilities are limited and PCR or administered testing for COVID-19 may be unavailable. If community transmission for COVID-19 is high, Denali Education Center reserves the right to request that participants wear masks during all program activities to protect the health of both participants and staff.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.
