A great way to visit Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon with your grandkids and experience the Grand Staircase in southern Utah and northern Arizona. Leadership and instruction superb. Meals, lodging and programs were stellar. The best thing is that the trip is fully planned and there are few decisions to make except how to take full advantage of the opportunity.

Highly recommend this program! The pace and structure makes traveling with grandchildren (mine ages 12 and 13)a breeze. Ample time to enjoy the beautiful national parks and each day was a new learning experience. The kids had a blast and so did we. Horseback ride was one of the highlights! Each grandchild took over 1,000 photos and they loved every minute of it.

Trip was well worth the money. It was informative, physical and fun. Paula and Darrell, the leaders, were wonderful.

Wonderful trip! Leaders and instructors were knowledgeable, friendly and related well with the children. Scenery was breathtaking. And sustained time with my granddaughter was a treat. While horseback riding down Bryce Canyon, she turned around to me and said "Isn't this the most fun you've ever had!" Thank you Road Scholar.

The places we visited were spectacular. They were places I have always wanted to see. But I would definitely ask questions about the intensity of the hikes. The altitude makes a big difference if you are not used to it. If you do not like heights check out where the hikes go, some can be a little scary. I also thought there was too much free time in this program and not a lot of options for your free time.

Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon are truly wonderful. The Road Scholar Program for grandparents/grandkids was very well done and engaging. Accommodations for bad weather were effectively made. The trip accomplished everything it was intending. This was a great experience. Thank you.

It does not get any better than this. Darrell and Paula are fantastic people who truly love what they do. We could never have given our grandchildren half the experiences they received on this trip without them. Their ability to relate to all the children, mix humor with learning, share their love of the outdoors, and relate their personal stories made this the best Road Scholar trip we have ever taken. I especially appreciated that they tried to give the children a compass for living their lives. The gift of a thankful rock will be a constant reminder to all of us that we are truly blessed. All the other activities were great and having opportunities for the children to have pool time and just be allowed to be kids was perfect. I now feel I have left my grandchildren with something far greater than money.
