Road Scholar transportation takes participants to the Las Vegas Harry Reid Intl airport, arriving by 11:00 AM. We recommend making flight reservations after 1:00 PM.

Upon arrival & retrieving your luggage- you will need to take a Taxi or download a Ride Share app to request a vehicle (Uber or Lyft) to transport you to the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix/Tempe ASU that is approximately 10 minutes away. The airport has a Taxi and Ride Share staging location to pick up a vehicle ride. The hotel DOES NOT offer an Airport shuttle. NOTE: There are several Hilton Garden Inn hotels in the area. Be sure to verify your hotel's address with your driver before boarding to ensure you are going to the correct hotel location.

Uber & Lyft are available in Phoenix. Download the app to your phone and request pick-up through phone app. Price varies on number of riders but is generally less expensive than taxicab. Ride share services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Terminal pick-up locations for ride share service providers are as follows: Terminal 3: South curb, west end outside door #4 Terminal 4: Level 1, north curb, far west end outside door #1 Terminal 4: Level 1, south curb, far east end, outside door #8. Returning to Phoenix at end of program

Please remember that this program starts in Phoenix, AZ and ends in Las Vegas, NV. If you drive your own car, you may leave it at the starting hotel parking lot during the duration of the trip, then fly back to Phoenix at the end of the program and return to the hotel and your car. This will allow you to book additional post-program nights at the starting hotel, possibly at a discounted rate; for more information, refer to the Hilton Garden Inn listing in the Accommodations section of this packet. Most airlines will book flights that arrive in Phoenix and depart from Las Vegas. Several airlines sell one way tickets between Las Vegas and Phoenix at affordable prices if booked far enough in advance.

Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix / Tempe ASU (86 Rockford Dr. Tempe AZ 85281) - Heading South on I-17 into Phoenix, take the I-10 E to exit 147A / Loop 202 East. Continue on Loop 202 East to McClintock Dr. Exit 8. At stop light turn right on McClintock Dr. Continue two lights and turn left on Rio Salado Parkway. The hotel will be on the left.

Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix / Tempe ASU from PHX Sky Harbor Airport

Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix / Tempe ASU (86 Rockford Dr. Tempe AZ 85281) - Exit airport on E. Sky Harbor Blvd. Follow the signs to AZ Loop 202 East (Tempe / Mesa). Merge onto AZ Loop 202 East and then take McClintock Dr. exit 8. At stop light turn right on McClintock Dr. Continue two lights and turn left on Rio Salado Parkway. The hotel will be on the left.
