PROGRAM START: This is the FIRST of TWO shuttles required to get from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to the Marble Canyon Lodge. On the first day of the program, the LATEST Groome Transportation Shuttle you can take from the Phoenix airport is the 10:30 AM departure, arriving at the Flagstaff Visitor Center/Amtrak by 1:40 pm. From the Flagstaff Visitor Center you will connect with the 2:15 PM Road Scholar van shuttle and transport to Marble Canyon, AZ. If you fly into the FLAGSTAFF AIRPORT, the Road Scholar shuttle van will also pick up for transport to Marble Canyon at 1:45 pm. ($30 one-way shuttle cost). PROGRAM CONCLUSION: The Road Scholar shuttle will return you to the Flagstaff Visitor Center/Amtrak station by 10:30 AM or the Flagstaff Airport. In order to return to the Phoenix airport, we recommend that you book the 11:00 AM Groome Transportation Shuttle that departs from Flagstaff Visitor Center/Amtrak with arrival to the Phoenix airport at 2:10 PM, book your flights accordingly.

Marble Canyon Lodge from I-40 Eastbound

Take the I-40 and turn off at exit 201 on east side of Flagstaff and head north on Highway 89. Travel 111 miles to the junction with Highway 89A at the little community of Bitter Springs. Turn left on 89A and travel 14 miles to Marble Canyon, just across the Colorado River. The "town" and lodge are one and the same - the lodge office is on the right.

Marble Canyon Lodge from I-40 Westbound

Take the I-40 west to Flagstaff. Exit at US 89 north toward Page. Stay on US 89 for 111 miles to the US 89A West cutoff and turn left toward Kanab, UT. Stay on 89A for 14 miles to Marble Canyon, AZ. The Marble Canyon Lodge is on your right, 0.25 miles past the Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River.

Marble Canyon Lodge from I-17

Take I-17 north to the I-40 junction in Flagstaff. Go east on I-40 towards Albuquerque. Take exit 201, US 89 North toward Page. Stay on US 89 for 111 miles to the US 89A West cutoff and go left toward Kanab, UT. Stay on 89A for 14 miles to Marble Canyon, AZ. The Marble Canyon Lodge is on your right, 0.25 miles past the Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River.
