Prepare to be amazed by the beauty of the parks you visit on this trip!

This was a wonderful whirlwind tour of some of the most beautiful places in the country. We had plenty of time to explore Bryce and Arches but were rushed in Zion and Canyonlands. I recommend one less night in St George at the beginning of the trip and heading to Zion after lunch on the second day. Truthfully, I was not nearly as interested in the Mormon history of St George as I was in seeing the National Parks. Our leaders were exceptional in every way possible. Marcia, Diana and Kelly were knowledgeable, personable, totally prepared and professional. When I said whirlwind it referred to the many changes of overnight venues and the packing and rushing in the morning. But really it is a small price to pay to cover as much ground as we did and seeing 5 fabulous National Parks plus a day on the lake and the incomparable Antelope Canyon! I would recommend this trip.

The Road Scholar "Best of Utah's Grand Circle of Parks and Monuments" is an awesome adventure and experiential learning experience.

Traveled in late October, so Bryce Canyon very cold and windy. The positive side was a smaller group (22) which added to the enjoyment throughout the trip. Magnificent scenery with flexible hiking/walking opportunities. Learned alot about geology, Mormon settlement, and native American history in this area. Very happy with overall experience.

This was a bucket list trip for me and it met and exceeded all my expectations! Not enough adjectives to describe the beauty and grandeur!

Lila

What a fantastic way to see the National Parks of southern Utah and pay attention to its geology without driving!

This was a spectacular trip of the National Parks and Monuments of Southern Utah. My heart soared with the beauty and miracles of nature. I have returned home with more confidence in my physical ability to "keep up" and sustain an active trip. It was a privilege to be with the staff and lovely group of people. A true learning and fun vacation!

Jean
(5)

This is a great trip. You will see many beautiful sites and learn a lot.

Janet

This trip includes all the Utahan National Parks and many State parks and Recreation Areas. It is perfect if you want to decide which parks you would like to spend more time in, or to cross Utah off your bucket list. If you are looking for energetic exploration, it is not for you. The accommodation and meals are excellent, and I could not believe how much was packed into the tour for such a modest cost.

This trip was our first with Road Scholar, and it was fantastic! Our leadership team of Paula, Darrell, and Paul, our driver, was exceptional. As one of them said, "every ten steps there's another awesome view." The historic and geological insights were most helpful (even though we couldn't pass the test now!), and we especially appreciated the use of local resources unique to this experience. We are still sorting and choosing our pictures to tell others about this outstanding experience, which we highly recommend.

This program was magnificent! I was constantly awed by the beauty of the area. It made me appreciate this wonderful Earth even more than I already did. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful places, informative leaders. If you've never been to Utah's glorious parks, this is a great way to start.

Susan
(5)

I have been blessed to have been able to travel to many incredible places on the earth (Antarctica, Africa, Israel, Jordan, Bhutan, Ireland, England, Norway etc.) always thinking that I would go to see the Grand Canyon when I was too old to take the other 10-18 hour trips elsewhere) and though I'm not that old yet, nothing prepared me for the astonishing experience of this trip. It was magnificent!

Steven
(5)

Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Our Group leaders Marcia, Diana and Kelly were so great, Knowledgeable and fun. The other travelers soon became friends and everyone got to know each other very quickly. I would Highly recommend this trip to everyone. Oh and the food, well bring your stretchy's. Steve and Lynn Lavia

Spectacular and worth every moment. I truly believe I was stunned at the beauty of Utah. The experience was enhanced by our three musketeers - Marcia, Kelly and Diana, the best trip leaders one could every experience. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wishes to get a taste of the parks, monuments and people of this wonderful state. Bravo!!!!!

Road Scholar provides outstanding opportunities for solo travelers to explore, learn, and meet others with similar interests. It was an outstanding trip, and I look forward to my next one!

Charlie

Great trip, except in Moab. Accomadations were terrible. Do not book unless Road Scholar removes Red Canyon Lodge from accomodations. Red Caynon Lodge was really, really bad.

Charles
(5)

My wife and I took this tour which was absolutely fantastic. The scenery was unsurpassed, the leaders the best we have ever had. Accommodations were good, motor coach good, bus driver superb, and we had a very compatible group. We would do another tour with Roads Scholar in a heartbeat.

Robert
(5)

I love your website! It helped us make a decision on doing this tour

Linda

I have been on 2 Road Scholar programs both were amazing and the leaders were well informed and very helpful. The other participants were friendly and I enjoyed meeting them and sharing the experience with them.

THis is an excellent, comprehensive itinerary for the Utah parks and very well organized and executed by a very qualified guide team!

Harvey
(5)

This program saved me 1,370 miles of driving, while providing expert information on geology, flora and fauna, and the political and cultural history of a relatively remote area. If that isn't enough, go for the fabulous scenery, duplicated nowhere else in the USA.

Mary Ann
(5)

I've sent in 4 names of friends that I think would enjoy the same great experience that I did. thank you

What a fantastic tour! The beauty and magnificence of Utah’s National Parks, their extraordinary landscapes, pictures plateaus, layer cake geology, and unusual rock formations were awe-inspiringly beautiful. Our trip leader, Darrell McMohan was truly brilliant. He knows so much about so many things.... geology, animals, plants, and people. He is a master teacher, exceptional communicator, possesses a delightful sense of humor, and has a wonderfully positive attitude about life. It would be difficult to find anyone more passionate about Utah and it's National Parks that Darrell. What a remarkable team Darrell McMohan, his wife, Paula (Group Leader), and Harry Stavros (bus driver) make. If you have ever wanted to see Utah than this is the trip for you!

Ingrid

this was a fascinating learning experience in every respect -- Roadscholar continues to open ones mind and heart -- try a trip and you will be amazed !

(5)

What a delight the Road Scholar tour "The Best of Utah's Grand Circle of Parks and Monuments" was. Sit back and relax in a coach and SEE the sights. Our tour leaders and bus driver provided an exciting 9 days full of the natural wonders of these parks. Each park had its own unique beauty and we so enjoyed exploring them! Very entertaining and educational-plus fun!

Susan

The scenery is knockout beautiful and really dramatic especially for people from the east coast.

Terry
(5)

I would highly recommend Road Scholar Tours. The Best of Utah's Grand Circle of Parks and Monuments was our first trip and it was awesome. Everything is well planned out for so you can enjoy your learning experience to it's fullest.

Kathryn
(5)

This trip exceeded our expectations. Besides experiencing 5 spectacular national parks and several state parks, we learned about the history, geology, geography, and archaeology of southern Utah and traveled with a wonderful, fun, interesting group of people, and a great instructor, group leader, and bus driver who helped make this trip one to remember! (I had never hiked before and have a temperamental hip, so I was grateful for the hiking poles I brought along.) My husband and I are truly enjoying sharing our trip with friends and family!

Diane
(5)

Southeastern Utah is an incredibly scenic area. Our fabulous crew provided us with an amazing journey though a wide variety of landscapes, scenery, and experiences. This program will enable you to better appreciate the majesty of our National Parks in the southwestern part of the United States.

Linda
(4)

If travel is the best education, I would say that I now find myself very well educated about Utah and its wondrous parks, thanks to our guide George, a geologist & raconteur par excellence, as well as his ever-cheerful teammate, wife Denise, who took care of the many nitty gritty details. Together this superb team helped improve our knowledge and awareness of the very foreign environment (to us) of the amazing Utah parks. We chose this 10-day tour because it was so complete; it checked all the boxes for us and we really saw and learned an incredible amount--so glad that we finally experienced all this unparalleled U.S. natural beauty!

Chris
(5)

Having never been to southern Utah, this trip showed us the beauty, the vastness and the differences between the parks. This 10 days was a wonderful way to get introduced to this part of America.

Wow! What a great way to see Utah's national parks and monuments. I enjoyed the lectures and the other participants and walking around in such beautiful settings. Our teacher, Janice, was a geologist with actual work experience with the places she described for us and led us through. I'm glad someone else was driving, so I could look out the window without interruption. The accommodations were just fine. We ate too much food, but I could have exercised more restraint. The group leader, John, was quite successful in getting 38 people on the bus and getting to meeting sites on time. Be prepared to get up early and have your eyes tired from looking at so many beautiful sites, each one more beautiful than the last.

Mary
(4)

I preferred the second part of the program, which included American Indian family and a guide. . I like to walk but not to climb up and down steep or bumpy areas.

Miles
(4)

The Utah and Arizona national parks trip was wonderful. The sites I had seen in dozens of movies proved to be as fantastic in real life as they had in cowboy movies I had watched seventy years ago! While Zion and Bryce parks were my favorites, Monument Valkyrie was simply incredible for natural beauty. We have been on ten Road Scholar trips, both domestic and international, and this trip is one of the very best. If you have wanted to see the far west and all it’s natural beauty, this is the trip for you. Miles in North Carolina

This is truly a SPECIAL tour!! The guides and driver were exceptionally knowledgeable about the area which made the experience INCREDIBLE! As we were taken to some of the most astonishing places on earth, we learned and explored many aspects including but not limited to geology, astronomy, history, stories and folklore. Always felt confident and safe and well fed with convenient accommodations. Can't say enough good things about this trip!!!

Larry
(5)

Sadly, I cannot recommend this program given my experience. The onsite organization and instruction were less than stellar. My previous two Road Scholar programs were excellent.

Paul

This trip was wonderful. Eldon and Diane were great group leaders. Eldon is so knowledgeable about the geology of the area. Diane kept everything moving along at a great pace. I can't say enough about how enjoyable this was.

Beth
(5)

One of the best trips we have taken. Well planned and organized with visits to outstanding parks. The vistas will fill you with awe.

Nancy
(5)

All I can say, now, ten days after returning from Utah, is WOW! The scenery is gorgeous and so enhanced by Phil Moore's knowledge - and especially his sharing of that knowledge - of geology and the geological origins of the national parks and other sites we visited. This my ninth Road Scholar tour and my favorite of all of them. In addition, Lori Moore kept us smiling and feeling good - and well-organized - about what we were experiencing. I felt comfortable, well-fed, safe, awestruck, and educated.

Barbara
(5)

This program is excellent, combining the beauty of the area with cultural and local education. Phil & Lori make an excellent team, providing a fun trip for all. It is great to ride, look & listen without stress. You will not look for parking, you will arrive at parks before the crowds, you will stop at the best areas. You will have a great time. TAKE THIS TRIP!!!

Daniel
(5)

A great location for a tour. Be sure to get the tour with Phil and Lori!

I am not sure what happened to the evaluation form that I wanted to use, but my husband and I both enjoyed our trip very much. Utah is beautiful, and we felt that the areas that we were able to visit were wonderful. Our guides on the trip were excellent! We learned a lot about the geology and history of the area. I also enjoyed learning about the Navajo Indians and their culture. I really don't have any criticisms of the experience--I would recommend the trip to others.

Mary
(5)

This tour covers the main, and the most impressive areas of southern Utah's State and National Parks. The hikes/walks were very rewarding and our guide was very informative. It is not too demanding and well worth the effort to participate in.

Sue
(5)

The Grand Circle tour in Utah was incredible!! I was amazed at the depth of knowledge presented. Taking the tour in April was perfect.....no bugs or snakes. The spring weather was great.

John
(5)

Wonderful adventure. Not to be missed if you enjoy the outdoors, being amazed by Mother Earth, learning about other cultures, and learning about the people and history of the area. Our leaders Marcia and Diana were terrific in guiding us through the process of understanding and appreciating our entire experience. Loved it all.

David

Our Road Scholar trip, “Utah’s Mighty 5” went above our expectations. The scenery, staff and fellow participants were all exceptional. We highly recommend this trip. We will be checking out more Road Scholar trips!

The Best of Utah’s Grand Circle of Parks & Monuments is an outstanding program. Everyday brought new & beautiful sites to behold. The knowledge of our onboard archeologist Diana, the leadership & experience of our coordinator Marcia, the skill & local knowledge of driver Kelly were all tremendous assets to our journey. If you love our National Parks, you must not miss out on this magnificent RS program. Utah is a stunningly beautiful state!

Lois
(5)

We were first-timers on a Road Scholar program and we are hooked! The trip was The Best of Utah's Grand Circle of Parks and our leader and instructor were both outstanding. Every tiny detail was given attention so that our experience was highly educational, comfortable, congenial, and worry-free. Our fellow travelers were delightful and are now our friends. Don't miss this opportunity.

This was my first trip after my retirement. I went alone and often wondered why this was my first, desired destination. I know now it is because of the profound wonderment of the parks in Utah included in this excellent trip. To have organized this alone would never have afforded me the comfort, the ease. the history, the science and the anecdotes associated with the whole experience. This was a shared experience I will treasure for a lifetime thanks to the care of planning, the points of destination, the friendships, and the guidance of the leaders.

Carolyn
(5)

This program truly exceeded my expectations. It was our first Road Scholar trip and we found it to be everything we had heard and read about our particular trip. We look forward to future trips with Road Scholar.

Keith
(5)

the website is slow we had trouble getting things straight with registration of the four people in our family group the group discussion was a total failure for the second trip. we were unable to communicate with any of our group beforehand on either trip.

Gregory
(5)

The natural beauty of the parks is simply beyond description. Eldon's explanations of the geology added greatly to the experience.

Sally
(5)

The Grand Circle Parks and Monuments tour exceeded expectations. We had checked in to other tours but they would not have taken us to all the places we wanted to see. This one did, and was both fun and informative!

Genesse
(5)

In order to really appreciate Utah's National Parks and Monuments, take this Road Scholar tour! It is amazing!

This was my first road scholar program - grand circle of Utah parks. It was incredibly well organized. The groups leaders, Diane and Eldon Griffin were outstanding in every way. They took very good care of all of us, accommodating special needs and made sure all of us could participate in all the activities. Eldon is an excellent instructor who is super knowledgeable about the local area. Our driver, Mike, was excellent as well. All the accommodations and food arrangements were very good. I would highly recommend this trip for someone who wants a sampling of the parks and knowledge about the area.

Gary
(5)

Great national park trip with a group of intelligent, like minded, life long learners. Phil and Lori Moore (tour guides) were amazing!!

Louis
(5)

This was a great program, and the program leaders were wonderful! If you want to experience the beauty of Utah's national parks and also gain an understanding of their geology, this is the program for you.

Ralph
(5)

We knew what to expect and were not disappointed in any way. The parks are as interesting and awe-inspiring as any sights we have ever seen. The leaders were informative, organized, and friendly. The bus driver was the safest we have encountered on any trip. The presenters were experts in their own specific fields and easy to learn from. Although the group was large (~40), everything was efficient. In the different micro-climates we wore everything from shorts to winter coats, but it was easy to take "layers" on the bus each day. The bus was modern and spacious. The food was healthful, varied, and plentiful. Really, no complaints other than that being out in the wide open spaces hampered cell/wi-fi communication! If you are fortunate to have Marcia, Kelly, and Dan as your program team, you can't go wrong. Do it!

Karen Elaine
(4)

Breathtaking venues, knowledgeable leaders, tour length was just right. Bus driver was wonderful, caring and accommodating. Thank you for putting together an interesting tour with dynamic leaders.

Clarissa
(5)

This was a wonderful trip. Although there was not as much hiking as I would have liked, the fact that we saw so much beautiful scenery in the National & State Parks and Monuments far outweighed any negatives. In addition, the group leaders were incredibly knowledgeable about Utah history, geology and wildlife.

Beth

Rodney
(5)

What a great way to get a taste of and experience some of the greatest and most beautiful National Parks and Monuments in Utah/Arizona! I was leery of going on an organized group tour because I've been accustomed to traveling on my own or with a few friends, but it was a great experience with Road Scholar. The logistics and details were smooth and taken care of without any worry on our part; abundant pre-trip information sent to us prepared us well and shared all the details well in advance. The information, educational experiences, sharing of history, opportunities to walk and hike, local people we encountered along the way and resource people traveling with us made it a rich, enlightening and memorable trip. We'd gladly travel with Road Scholar again, and now have a better sense of where we'd like to return to in the canyonlands of Utah and Arizona to explore on our own .

Diane
(5)

I thought this program was both informative, educational, and fun. The scenery was absolutely unbelievably beautiful unlike anything I have ever seen. The leaders were excellent. They were friendly, humorous, and their knowledge was contagious and made you want to learn more. It was one of our best bus excursions we have every had.

Robert
(5)

We had no idea what to expect on this adventure but it exceeded our expectations in every respect! This is a very high quality experience which should not be missed! Great instruction...a true "gem" of a trip!

Jack F.
(5)

A physically challenging tour. One needs to be able to walk up to 4 miles a day, often at high elevations and on uneven terrain, sometimes broiling heat. Nonetheless, the scenery is spectacular and the experience exhilirating. A real adventure, something one could never achieve doing it on ones own.

Ronna
(5)

This was my first experience with Road Scholar and I am very happy that I found them! The itinerary is diverse and the instructors are knowledgable and caring. I had a great time and look forward to another trip with this group.

Utah Grand Circle of Parks was our first Road Scholar trip. While we were a bit concerned about the large number in our group, it turned out to be fine as everyone got along and we met some wonderful people. Our guides were terrific - knowledgeable, friendly, and went over and above to give us the best experience. We are now planning our next trip to Spain and Portugal with Road Scholars. Of All the wonderful Road Scholar programs we have so far attended, the astonishing natural beauty of this program has easily been the best. Wonderfully run, this program satisfies on all levels.

Gary
(5)

As one of the participants who had been on multiple Roads Scholar trips mentioned to me, you started at the top by selecting the Utah National Parks and Monuments trip.

John
(5)

Our itinerary included some of the most fascinating places in the world whose geological, biological, anthropologal, and historical mysteries were explained by our guide. We were particularly fortunate in encountering mild weather and being able to see a wide variety of wild flowers. Also, we we able to experience some Native American culture as well as the history and culture of the Americans who settled the area.

Dorothy
(5)

Absolutely wonderful trip! A truly amazing part of this country which should not be missed! There's the grandeur of Zion, the breathtaking "playfulness" of Bryce, and the overwhelming Georgia O'Keeffe-like beauty of Antelope Canyon!

This trip gets a top rating--excellent instructor and leader (Janice and John), fantastic bus driver (Tam) who was part of the team, comfortable bus for our group of 40, comfortable accommodations, flexible hiking options, compatible group, etc. Our group leader (John) paid special attention to those who needed assistance. His good humor and excellent organization kept us in good spirits and on track. We learned a lot of geology that most of us never had in college. I liked the fact that Janice used bus time to give lectures using the screens on the bus. I also appreciated the supporting print materials. My only suggestion is to increase the basic background knowledge about geology during the first morning (instead of touring St. George which seemed like "filler") so that we were prepared for Janice's lectures and for the reading material assignments each night.

We just completed the Road Scholar “The Best of Utah's Grand Circle of Parks and Monuments” trip. We had a marvelous experience. The scenery was awesome and overwhelming in it’s majesty. The leaders of our group, Janice and John Hayden were outstanding. Janice’s passion and depth of knowledge of the parks’ geology was very impressive. Each park and monument we visited came alive with her spontaneous in-depth narrative. We learned so much. John did an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly. All accommodation and meal planning was handled without a hitch. We wholeheartedly recommend this Road Scholar trip.

Utah's Grand Circle of Parks #2814 was excellent. Marcia, Kelly, and David provide insight's not provided by other tour companies. You can't go wrong. very educational, informative, and the sites can't be described in a picture. Must visit them. Very good tour. First trip, we will be back.

This program is exceptional and exceeded my expectations on my bucket list trip. We experienced High Dessert, mountains 8000 above sea level and canyons with the usual exceptional changeable weather patterns. I would follow guide books that recommend packing long sleeve cotton shirts and wear a sleeveless polo underneath. For me, as I sunburn in 15 minutes, 100+ sunscreen and a broad brim hat was a must as in April the sun has high UV rays. As you are on the road, unless you know how to work different motel alarm clocks, I would recommend packing a small electric alarm that you know how to set. If it is hot when you go, I would recommend powdered Gatorade or other electrolytes. That helped me deal with the dessert warmth in April. This was an incrediable, exceptionable once in a lifetime trip. I would like to go back. Linda Van Wyk

Beautiful tour with amazing scenery. The leaders were great and participants very friendly. Everyday we were filled with awe for the spectacular parks. Each park has different rock formations and our guide explained geology and botany of each. Highly recommend this tour.

It's no mystery why this program is rated "Most Popular" and "Five Star". Our group was fortunate enough to have the team of Marcia, Kelly and David. Although the program is very active and the air is thin at an elevation of 8,000 feet, the wonder and magic of seeing the rock formations in person can't be put into words. If you've only ever seen photos of Zion, Bryce, Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell and Rainbow Bridge, then you can't imagine what it all looks like up close and in 3D. David does an excellent job of explaining the geology of the area, and why the rocks look the way they do. Learning how the area was settled and the hardships experienced by the pioneers is a real eye-opener. College Inn in St. George is set up specifically for Road Scholars, so the food is very healthy, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Dinner on your own in Moab is a nice chance to walk around town and choose from the many small, speciality restaurants within easy distance from the well-located lodge. If you don't have a hiking pole, Kelly has extras on the bus, along with bottled water. You'll want sturdy shoes for some of the canyon walks. This program fills up fast, so pick your date and sign up!

This program was a great way to see many Utah parks. It was well done with the level of understanding for the geology of the area. There was a variety of hikes and activities included. The long bus rides seemed shorter with the lectures. The food was excellent. Marcia, Kelly and David made a great team.

I have been on fourteen Road Scholar trips and trust Road Scholar to do a fine job overall. In my experience they do a particularly quality job on the National Parks trips. I would recommend anyone who loves the American West and the National Parks to take this journey. I expected to see beautiful, unusual rock formations and mountains but I was surprised by the constant magical landscape that went on mile after mile. I kept thinking the word ‘majestic’. I think we all were awed by the natural beauty and variety of what we were seeing. The trip’s activity level, On Your Feet, was fine for me. I feel lucky that a trip suited to my abilities was available. I loved the hikes. Most were of the ‘in-and out’ variety so one could set the pace that worked for them and on level ground. The hotels and the food was fine. I particularly like the College Inn in Saint George (super clean, simple, comfortable, convenient to downtown, $35 for an extra night) and the Lake Powell Resort and Marinas. Paula and Darrell did a fine job, things were organized and smooth. Darrell is an amazing instructor with such passion and curiosity for geology and the natural sciences. He also has good dry sense of humor. I appreciate that Paula and Darrell know the region well. I am not giving the trip total full marks because I feel sometimes we were too rushed on the amount of time for meals and stops in the parks when it didn’t seem necessary to rush. I imagine that the schedule was pretty complicated but sometimes we were given too little time although the next step was just returning to the hotel. Early April was a great time to go. Be aware that you will be in high altitudes for most of the trip.

This was an amazing trip! The instructors were knowledgeable and engaging, the trip leaders Liane and Sally, and our driver Jerry, took care of our every need. They even had hiking poles to loan to those of us that didn’t bring our own. As is usually the case with Road Scholar trips, our fellow participants were educated, informed and involved people who were interested in making the most of our tour experience and willing to share their knowledge with everyone. Most importantly, we all got along so well, it was like we had known each other for much longer. The activity level was consistent with the program description. The accommodations were generally very good, food was good, plentiful and varied, and the places we visited were beautiful. This is a popular trip, and for very good reason. We had a wonderful time.

This was my first RS trip, and it was fabulous in almost every way. But nobody’s perfect, right? The biggest problem with this trip was that while riding the big comfy bus, our trip leader loved the microphone and engaged in nearly non stop talk. This became very annoying after the first half day. Some of her info was very good; some f it was merely trivia, pablum, bantering about stuff to merely fill the air space. Considering we spent a great deal of time on the bus (this trip covers a lot of territory), her non stop chatter was hard to take. It would have been nice to have a balance, ie., 15 min talking, and then 15 min of quiet. I offered this suggestion to her, but nothing changed. To make matters worse, the PA system on the bus required everyone to listen, couldn’t turn any speakers off. And she had the volume cranked very loud. May have been some hearing impaired folks on the bus, but the guy behind me, wearing a hearing aid, told me he felt she was way too loud. When I asked him to go tell her, he politely declined, saying he didn’t want to make waves. Other than the constant noise on the bus problem, This trip was great. Great scenery, lovely agenda for most days. One older guy, a retired college professor, spoke to us on the 2nd day, and he babbled on and on. He Took 1.5 hours to tell us info that could easily have been condensed by half. Then, he met us at the old courthouse, and did the same thing. Would have loved to have had an hour to spend strolling old town St George, instead of listening to this guy prattle on and on...He had no filters, apparently. Overall, this was a great trip. And, you will likely not get the leader I had, so you won’t have to listen to her loud, endless chatter on the bus. If this problem were eliminated, this trip would have been great ( Had a Chinese buffet at Lake Powell that was tasteless, poor) We stayed an extra day at College Inn, in St George, to explore. Glad. Rooms, staff, food all v good there!

The Best of Utah’s Grand Circle of Parks and Monuments exceeded my expectations! We live in Arizona and could have visited Utah on our own but the knowledge and exploration of the National and state parks we received through Road Scholars gave us a much greater experience. Our instructors Marsha and Phil were not only knowledgeable, but friendly and personable. The bus driver Kelly made our safety and comfort a top priority plus our luggage and personal items were secure at all times . Our experience was excellent!

This "circle tour" of the fantastic National and State Parks in the 1100 miles around St. George Utah is delightful. Great educational and cultural content in a part of North American that will knock your socks off with its bizarre beauty. So glad we did it.
