After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
Aurora Expeditions requires all participants to complete an online medical questionnaire prior to departure. This confidential information allows the ship's medical staff to better understand your medical history and provide appropriate care if needed during the voyage. Road Scholar will provide instructions and the link to complete the required forms before departure. To ensure you receive important program communications, please add rssouthamericaprograms@roadscholar.org to your Safe Senders list so that our emails are not delivered to your spam or junk folder. We will only contact you regarding your Road Scholar program.
A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Intersur Recoleta in Buenos Aires
Start of Trip: (Day 2) 2:00 p.m. hotel check-in followed by Orientation.
Getting to the site: Participants who have booked their air through Road Scholar Travel Services and are arriving on the program start date will be met by a Road Scholar representative outside the Immigration and Customs area at Ezeiza International Airport. A transfer from Ezeiza International Airport to the hotel in Buenos Aires is included for these participants. Independent travelers, as well as participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare but are arriving before the program start date, may arrange a private transfer. After clearing the restricted area and collecting luggage, taxis and private cars are available from the official transportation stands located inside the arrivals terminal before entering the public arrivals area. These services operate with fixed rates and are generally considered safe and recommended. Payment can be made by credit card, U.S. dollars, or Argentine pesos, if available.
Your trip ends on: Monday, March 1, 2027 in At Sea at Greg Mortimer
End of Trip: Upon arrival from Ushuaia at Buenos Aires Airport.
Getting to the airport: All participants have the included internal flight from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires. The program concludes at Ezeiza International Airport (EZE). Transfers to Ezeiza International Airport will be arranged for all participants, if needed, based on the arrival airport of the included internal flight. Participants who choose to extend their stay in Buenos Aires may decline the transfer.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
