Please note: Effective Aug. 1, 2026, the Arab Republic of Egypt requires a digital visa (single entry, 30-day stay) on-arrival system at Cairo International Airport, replacing the paper visa sticker with an electronic QR code. Applications are submitted through the government portal and require personal and passport information, along with a non-refundable payment of US $39 per person (US $33 visa fee and US $6 service charge), payable by Visa or Mastercard. The visa is issued as a QR code valid for seven days from issuance. As entry into Egypt is on Day 8 of this program, you will apply for your visa while in Jordan. The Group Leader will discuss the process and provide assistance during the program. Upon arrival, present the QR code and passport at passport control. Non-USA citizens should check with the Egyptian embassy in their country of residence for current visa requirements, as entry regulations may vary by nationality.
