After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

In order to be prepared for your upcoming program, we need to collect some additional information. The link can be found in the Recommended Websites section of your pre-program information packet. We expect it will take less than 5 minutes to complete. At the bottom of the form there is a submit button. After submitting your form, you will have the opportunity to "submit another response" if you are traveling with someone in the same household. This form must be completed 14 days prior to your program start date. A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

A modern cruise ship has many engineered devices to minimize ship motion and generally ship motion is minimal or non-existent. However, we do spend some time in the open Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Alaska so some motion is possible then. If you are prone to sea sickness check with your health provider to see what strategy might work best for you.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 4:00 p.m. Program Registration followed by Orientation and Welcome Dinner .

Your trip ends on: Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in Anchorage, AK at Hotel Captain Cook

End of Trip: 8:30 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out; no programming.
