Since I have been a long-time fan of Ansel Adams I was excited to travel to the Yosemite National Park to visit some of the iconic sites I’ve seen in his photography. We were able to view the towering cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome plus the famous waterfalls of Bridalveil and Yosemite. Some of the “Off the Beathen Path” highlights were Hetch Hetchy valley dam and reservoir, Tuolumne Meadows, Tenaya Lake, and Olmstead Point. The accommodations at Rush Creek Resort were excellent with their breakfast brunch being a meal highlight. Since this was the inaugural trip for this particular tour of Yosemite some to the things related to meals, rest breaks, and free time were challenges which our group leader, Greg, worked hard to resolve.
