This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my two grandchildren and me. We will never forget our rafting trip, our first view of the Grand Canyon, and our walk on a short part of the Bright Angel Trail. I hope I have planted seeds in my grandchildren to continue exploring this country and our world. Sharing these experiences with other grandparents and grandchildren made the entire adventure even more exceptional and memorable.

Claire Janseen and Sam Hart were excellent! They were both very good at making the grandchildren listen and pay attention when they needed to and making sure that the grandparents were responsible for their grandchildren. Claire, as team leader, was especially good at making sure that grandparents were responsible for their grandchildren. Sam was especially good at letting the kids be kids-such as giving him a silly nickname. Claire was especially good and solicitous after my wife got the news that her mother had died (It was not unexpected). She made sure my wife got what she needed. Her follow-up email after the program was sympathetic and genuine. It was important and added to the trip to have a native Arizonian on the trip (Sam Hart). He enriched the trip and added knowledge and information. The educational sessions were informative and excellent. We did think the afternoon session wth Willow Bend about the Grand Canyon geology was too long. It could have been cut in half and the grandchildren would have paid more attention to the information. The hands-on part, using play-doh was fun and enjoyable and get the point across well. The evening program, "Maggie's Wild Sedona" was a great hit and thoroughly enjoyed by grandchildren and grandparents alike! The forms one needed to fill out were not as clear as to who had to fill them out. Also, helmets for the white water rafting trip would have been nice to offer. Overall, it was a great trip, enhanced by Claire and Sam's leadership and presence. I would recommend it any grandchildren / grandparents. It was a great way to bond more and to have something you can talk about for years to come with your grandchild.

This was a great program and encouraged us (both grandparents and granddaughter) to step outside of our comfort zone and try new adventures. It is definitely a trip we will all remember.

My two grandchildren and I loved this June 2025 adventure. The pink jeep ride, playing in the creek, the hikes, whitewater rafting, the helicopter ride and the Grand Canyon were all highlights for us. Rocky, Sam and Briscoe were great leaders, and we enjoyed their company along with the rest of our group. We experienced a couple hiccups along the way (a bus mechanical problem, for instance) but it all turned out ok in the end. I would recommend this tour to others.

Overall, this was a wonderful trip for the kids. They were kept interested for most of the time. The adults in our group mingled well with each other and the kids were a very cohesive group, although the boys could get a bit rowdy. I have one suggestion. If you have major issues with your lower back, think very carefully before taking the raft ride. It isn't fun when you are worrying every moment that you'll displace something. Plus there will be so much mud splashing on your face and body so that you and your clothes will need major cleaning. For the more adventurous however, it's quite a ride.

The Red Rocks & Rafting program to Sedona and the Grand Canyon is a wonderful experience to share with your grandchild. My granddaughter loved the adventure of playing in a beautiful swimming hole, riding a raft through the Grand Canyon and going up in a helicopter. And so did I. These memories will be something we share forever.
