Christopher E. Hendricks is a professor of history at the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University in Savannah, where he has taught since 1993. He has worked extensively in early American history and material culture with many organizations including the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Old Salem, Inc. He has authored numerous publications including 'The Colonial Towns of Piedmont North Carolina' and 'Old Southern Cookery: Mary Randolph's Recipes from America’s First Regional Cookbook Adapted for Today’s Kitchen.' He received his B.A. from Wake Forest University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in history from the College of William and Mary.
