I thoroughly enjoyed the Go Solo Peru program. It was well planned and really fun. Our leader, Eliacin, was fantastic and kept our group moving and grooving. I was intimidated going on a solo trip but it turns out I met 15 new friends. We had a great time and we're already talking about our next trip. Thank you Road Scholar!!

Hello scholars, Just finished my very 1st trip to Peru with my fellow solo travelers. It was a fantastic trip! Everyone was so nice and our tour guide Eliacin was the best! It took a long hours for me to travel to Peru and to back home. But having nicest fellow travelers as well as having knowledgeable and compassionate guide/teachers really made the trip so much more valuable! Foods were fantastic! I feel as though still in Incan country. Anyone interested in venturing to Peru, I totally recommend this trip! Thank you Road Scholar for making it possible also!

This was my first Road Scholar experience and I was so pleased with everything about this trip to Peru! The accommodations, the food, our (archeologist) Group Leader (Christian), the guest lecturers (artisans, economist, biologist, agriculturalist and musicologist - and our own personal anthropologist (Javier) - along with all the other arrangements (planes, trains and automobiles) made for a fantastic experience. The company of my fellow travelers was excellent and the team led by Christian was so well organized that every thing down to the smallest detail was taken care of for us. The amount of knowledge shared with us was fascinating and gave me further insights about the culture and history of Peru. If everything goes well may be booking another Road Scholar trip very soon!

Didn't think I'd like ANY group tour but this was a fantastic, lifetime experience. Learned so much and felt like I experienced the country more on a local level than I would have on my own. Lifetime memories!

I jus came back from Peru and this program excceded my expectations in most every way. Our guides were very knowledgable and so very proud to show us their country. Probably most interesting to me was the fact that we interacted with locals in a way we wouldn't have if traveling on our own. Loved the experience! Viva Peru!

Truly a wonderful experience. The trip was organized and executed flawlessly by the local and regional group leaders. I felt taken care of from gate to gate for the entire trip. I am already planning my next trip!

Fabulous trip. Anyone who has Machu Pichu on their bucket list should consider Road Scholar. I wouldn't recommend trying to navigate the trip on your own. Road Scholar made it a very comfortable, navigable, educational and most of all, enjoyable adventure! Highly, highly recommend!
