Great program that offers a diversity of experiences to learn about and experience the Trans Pecos area of the United States. I learned so much about this remote, yet ecologically rich desert environment.

Very enjoyable. This took me places I would not have found or enjoyed on my own. Wonderful wildlife and birds. McDonald Observatory - very good. Museum of Big Bend - superior. The night astronomy viewing - lots of fun. Everyone was engaged. Of course the two national parks and the state park were so much fun. What a glorious landscape. Our leader could pivot on a dime to add reasonable side jaunts / handle weather changes. For example, we took an extra few minutes to explore the "mural district" in Alpine. Participants should pay close attention to the ratings / Strenuous, moderate, etc. and have a realistic assessment of their abilities. Ms. Cockerell, I would go on any of your trips. You were super. ..Magnificent.

This program was a wonderful learning experience. West Texas has a lot to offer and was fun to explore. The two extra perks were visits to Big Bend and Guadalupe National Parks. KT and Rick were a huge asset and fun to learn from and travel with. With Road Scholar there is always a lot of learning and both of them were wonderful. Our coach driver Martha was also a huge asset. She was able to maneuver through steep and tight turns keeping us safe throughout our program. Additionally, she shared her insight and knowledge with us in little bits here and that helped to add to the overall group experience.

This trip is a wonderful introduction to so much of what west Texas has to offer. I learned more about my state and enjoyed good company along the way.

The Big Bend National Park trip was so interesting and we saw beautiful scenery on our hikes! Enjoyed learning more about the area and going to the McDonald Observatory too. Also loved the evening trip to look thru telescopes at Jupiter!
