I absolutely loved this program! New Orleans is an incredibly vibrant, fascinating city, and this experience brought it to life in the best possible way. We stayed at Hotel Monteleone, which was not only beautiful and comfortable, but full of character and history—it truly enhanced the entire trip. I came away having learned so much about the city’s rich culture, history, and unique spirit. Every day was engaging, well-paced, and thoughtfully planned. I’m already looking forward to returning to explore even more! Mary Lynn, our tour leader, was an absolute gem—warm, knowledgeable, organized, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made the experience feel seamless and special from start to finish. One of the biggest highlights was the amazing group of women I traveled with. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and we shared so many laughs and memorable moments together. It really made the trip unforgettable. This was an exceptional program, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a Road Scholar adventure!

Fascinating history of the laws and women's rights different from general US history.
