Guide and shore excursions were good. Ship Panorama not so much. Toilets don’t flush toilet paper u have to put it in a can - yuck! No shade on deck. Food average to poor with severely overcooked beef - fish ok. Sloppy crew. Sails only raised 1 day. No tender leaving hired shore tenders to roughly handle my wife when loading or unloading Guide had dizzy spells on uphill hikes

Dear Norris, We apologize that your time aboard the ship did not completely meet your expectations. However, we're pleased to hear that you found value in the guide and excursions. Your feedback has been forwarded to the appropriate team for review and consideration. Additionally, we would welcome the chance to discuss this with you directly—one of our team members has already reached out. We look forward to connecting with you soon. Sincerely, Road Scholar

The trip was wonderful, and our tour guide, Niki was a huge reason why. Greece was on my bucket list since 8th grade so a dream come true. Roads delivered.

Jewels of of the Aegean is a "must do" experience. There is no better way to learn about the basis of democracy in our world.

As always Road Scholar excels in program services and knowledgeable leaders. However I must strongly argue about how this program is marketed. You show a full 3 masted sailboat in all your advertising and refer to sailing (as opposed to cruising) . The ship does not sail! I booked this trip specifically to sail. At the very least you need to stop using the picture showing sails up in your marketing literature. This inaccurate depiction caused disappointment among some attendees, myself definitely! This is not what I have come to expect from Road Scholar and in my eyes it damages your excellent reputation for honesty in advertising.

Dear Linda, We are sorry you felt the description of the program was misleading and for any disappointment this caused. Your feedback is important to us and we are taking steps to clarify the ship information moving forward. We are adjusting our marketing materials and ship description to make sure that we don’t' emphasize the sailing potential on this program. Thank you for your thoughts and we hope to learn with you again sometime soon. Sincerely, Road Scholar

Not for people with limited mobility! Getting on/off the boat by narrow gangplank, getting into and out of a Zodiac inflatable raft and tenders, walking up and down steep hills and rocky paths, deep weeds, without handrails, standing long periods or time in the sun or rain, etc are al, required.

The trip was awesome. The motorized sailing vessel, the swims in the Aegean Sea, having the most wonderful instructional leader (Effie) who was so knowledgeable about Greek history and current events made the trip unforgettable. The trip did not disappoint. It was everything I was hoping to experience.

When the weather forced the program to change, our leaders were very creative and came up with alternatives that were equally amazing.

Great trip with very knowledgeable guides who had to pivot because of bad weather and did a magnificent job of it. Regrettably due to gale-force winds on the Mediterranean we were not able to cross to Delos and Rhodes but we didn't simply huddle in port. We went to parts of the Aegean side of Greece that we otherwise would not have seen and the two guides did a magnificent job of scheduling interesting tours. Boat acccommodations were good and the meals were fabulous

This was an amazing program. The perspectives I gained on contemporary and ancient Greece were priceless. And experiencing some small part of the Minoan Culture first hand was so very much different than what i learned in World History class from the seventh and eights grade. A most worthwhile trip.

This trip was fascinating and extraordinarily well managed. The weather threw curve balls all week long and the ship’s crew and our guides dealt beautifully as they had to recraft the entire program on the fly. Wherever we went in search of a safe harbor, you might have supposed that they had lived there their whole lives and shared that familiarity with us. The ability to adapt like that is priceless.

I very much enjoyed my first Road Scholar program, though I don't think I fully understood how much education there would be. Our study leaders were the best. The boat was very comfortable. And the other participants added to the experience. Thank you.
