Online Lecture: Lincoln at Gettysburg — 272 Words That Shaped Our Nation

That was one of the best online lectures I’ve taken. Highly recommend.

This was a very informative lecture. It has made me think about how things are written & read differently. I hope to learn more from Louis in the future!

Louis Masur's instruction about Lincoln and the Gettysberg Address is exceptional. He has much knowledge but always seems to get the personal have a place as well.

This lecture teaches more about Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and the events and attitudes surrounding it than I learned in the two visits I've made to the battlefield. Excellent!

One of the best-structured and articulately elegant lectures I've heard. Informative, compelling, with just enough visuals to illustrate the narrative built of solid scholarship. This historian clearly loves his work. I'm so glad he shared it with us. (Apparently we numbered over 1,000!)

Very interesting and well presented.

The Hollowed Place of Gettsburg

Professor Masur delivered an outstanding presentation on The Gettysburg Address. He fielded all questions, made everyone feel at ease, recommended valuable reading material, and gave me a better understanding of President Lincoln's historic speech.
