After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
For the U.K. ETA, please make sure you print your approval letter or save it to your phone where you can easily locate it to facilitate the embarkation process. Staff at the cruise terminal will ask to see your U.K. ETA prior to boarding the ship. Your approval letter will say no need to print it, but you will be asked for it at the cruise terminal. Cruise Line Terms and Conditions of Carriage Road Scholar participants enrolling in this program are subject to Cunard's terms and conditions of carriage, which include an assumption of risk agreement, waiver of liability, and other important information regarding your rights and obligations. Participants are therefore encouraged to carefully review them in advance.You can view the cruise line’s terms & conditions by visiting their website at the link below: https://www.cunard.com/en-us/advice-and-policies/passage-contract To allow for entry/exit stamps and visa stamps, we would recommend that you have at least 10 blank pages in your passport (keep in mind that 2 or more visa stamps can be stamped on 1 visa page). **PLEASE NOTE: Cunard requires that you register online in order to print your E-ticket(s) and cruise documents. You should do this as soon as you receive an e-mail directly from Cunard stating: Online check-in is now open for your voyage. **You must print your own personalized Queen Victoria Luggage Tags. This will assist the porters in getting your bags safely to your stateroom. Generic tags are available at the pier in case you forget** NOTE: If you are travelling with someone, only one person will get an e-mail from Cunard. This is simply just how their system works. Please ask your traveling companion to forward the e-mail to you and follow the instructions.
A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

Vietnam
Your passport must have 2 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it may be obtained upon arrival.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.
Please note: Cruise passengers visiting Vietnam are now granted a loose-leaf visa upon arriving at a Vietnam sea port and can be obtained onboard the ship. The application fee for this visa ranges from US $25 to US $80 .
Australia
Your passport must have 1 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.
Please note: Participants visiting Australia require an electronic travel authority that they must purchase themselves through the Australian ETA app prior to travel. To get the ETA App, you will need to download the AustralianETA App on your smartphone. Step-by-step instructions are at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601#HowTo. There is a $20 AUD service fee for the ETA application (cost subject to change). Once you download the app, be sure to have your passport with you when you start the eVisa application process, it requires that the physical passport is scanned.
Indonesia

United Kingdom

Please note: American & Canadian passport holders traveling to or through the United Kingdom will need authorization via the UK Government's Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) Visa. The application is available online and via the UK ETA App at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta#apply-for-an-eta. You will need your passport information to complete the form. Once received, the application is expected to be processed within three business days. Once you have received confirmation, it will be valid for two years or until your passport expires (whichever occurs first). You must apply before entering the UK. Please make sure you print your approval letter or save it to your phone where you can easily locate it to facilitate the embarkation process. Namibia

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Getting to the site: Participants that have arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are arriving on the designated arrival date of the program will receive an arrival transfer from JFK, La Guardia, or Newark airports. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Your trip ends on: Saturday, May 1, 2027 in London at Radisson Blu Hotel, London Heathrow
End of Trip: After breakfast followed by transfers
Getting to the airport: Participants that arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are departing on the designated departure date of the program will receive a departure transfer. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Participants not taking the transfer can ask the hotel for help getting a taxi.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
