Join Dr. Spencer Jones, senior lecturer in armed forces and war studies at the University of Wolverhampton, for this three-part series on the remarkable events of “The Summer of 1940." In May, Hitler launched his war on the West and France reeled under the hammer of blitzkrieg. The first lecture of the series focuses on the Battle of France which resulted in the fall of France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium.
