A Hands-On, Sea-to-Table Extravaganza on Chincoteague Island
After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.
Arrival day is on Sunday, July 18, 2027.

Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. motel check-in; 3:00-4:30 p.m. Program Registration followed by Welcome Dinner and Orientation.

Car rental is available at the airport (www.flyreagan.com/dca/rental-cars). It is a 3 to 4 hour drive from the airport to Chincoteague, depending on traffic. It is highly recommended that you have a car while on Chincoteague Island is a lovely step back in time, and there is no taxi service on the island. Taxi service from the airport is limited and expensive due to the distance. Please ensure you have transportation set up prior to leaving home.

Free parking is available at the inn There is not any public transportation on or to the island. Participants will want a car to go to the beach or around the island during their free time.
Chincoteague Island
The weather on Chincoteague Island changes with the seasons. It is usually cool in the early morning and evening, but warms up nicely during the day. Participants wishing more information about the area may contact the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce at 757-336-6161.
All points north or south
You will be traveling either north or south on Rte. 13. Turn east onto Rte. 175 at T's Corner in Oak Hall, Va. Rte. 175 will bring you onto Chincoteague Island. (note: there's only one way to turn when you get to 175, except into a parking lot)
