She also writes short stories and has been shortlisted for a number of awards including The Yeovil Prize, The (Irish) Fish Prize and The Crime Writers’ Association Margery Allingham award. Her latest novel is "All the Little Lies," which was published in February 2019 by HarperCollins. Chris makes regular appearances at conferences and readers’ events to talk about classic crime writers and their work. She also writes under the name of Abbie Frost.

He has edited 30 anthologies, published about 60 short stories and written seven other non-fiction books.
