Tokyo
Founded 130 years ago, this hotel is located on the Toki-no-Kane Street in Nihonbashi which originated with the Toki-no-Kane (one of the bell towers) that was used to inform the residents of Edo of the time. Completely re-built from the ground up in the same location as the original, it re-opened in July of 2020. Styled to recapture the feel of old Edo, but with a modern flourish, the hotel welcomes guests with the concept of “a hotel that creates a new story that can only be felt here by thinking about the unique story created by our predecessors.” Featuring a large public bath more often found in smaller ryokan type inns, the hotel also has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well conference rooms, and a coin laundry. It is conveniently located near the historic Nihonbashi district, and is less than a 10 minute ride from Tokyo station in an area with many restaurants. Twin (two bed) and Single (one bed) accommodations offered during the program.
