You should do this as soon as you receive an e-mail directly from Cunard stating: Online check-in is now open for your voyage. **You must print your own personalized Queen Elizabeth Luggage Tags. This will assist the porters in getting your bags safely to your stateroom. Generic tags are available at the pier in case you forget**

A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

Malaysia

Indonesia

United Kingdom

Please note: American & Canadian passport holders traveling to or through the United Kingdom will need authorization via the UK Government's Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) Visa. The application is available online and via the UK ETA App at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta#apply-for-an-eta. You will need your passport information to complete the form. Once received, the application is expected to be processed within three business days. Once you have received confirmation, it will be valid for two years or until your passport expires (whichever occurs first). You must apply before entering the UK.

Australia

• A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.

Please note: Participants visiting Australia require an electronic travel authority that they must purchase themselves through the Australian ETA app prior to travel. To get the ETA App, you will need to download the AustralianETA App on your smartphone. Step-by-step instructions are at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601#HowTo. There is a $20 service fee for the ETA application (subject to change).

Papua New Guinea

• Your passport must have 1 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.

• A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.

• The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.

Please note: A Visitor Visa is required for entry into Papua New Guinea. Please see the below link for further information: https://ica.gov.pg/visa/visit/visitor Once you click on Apply, select the 'Visitor' option under 'Visa Types'. You will then be required to provide some personal information, including your passport details.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in, followed by an Orientation Meeting and Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: Participants that have arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are arriving on the designated arrival date of the program will receive an arrival transfer. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Taxis are available at the London Heathrow Airport, see below link for further information: https://www.heathrow.com/transport-and-directions/by-taxi-or-mini-cab You can also take a direct train from Heathrow to Paddington Station, trains run every 15 minutes, see below link for further information: https://www.heathrowexpress.com/

Getting to the site by train or bus: Available

Your trip ends on: Friday, April 28, 2028 in Miami at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale

End of Trip: After breakfast at the hotel, followed by transfers.

Getting to the airport: Participants that arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are departing on the designated departure date of the program will receive a departure transfer. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. For participants not taking the transfer, taxis are available at the port in Miami.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
