The trip was wonderful even with the threat of a hurricane. Bethany was a group leader who made the trip a great experience. She had excellent knowlege and leadership ability to keep us excited about the history and geography of the area. The ponies and other attractions kept our interest at a peak. The most important part of the trip was the group of kids. All were included in their activities (mostly in the pool); none were left out. Our granddaughter made a lot of new friends. The adults made new friends as well. The weather caused changes in our activities. We had to forgo the group beach time because of rip tides and a bit of rain; however, Bethany arranged substitute activities that kept us engaged. Our lectures were fascinating. Each presenter was exceptionally knowledgable about their subject. The museum was a perfect backdrop to the entire trip. Chincoteague is certainly a destination to go to again.

This programs is awesome! I had heard of Chincoteague but I never knew what an amazing place it is. We saw amazing nature, ate great food, enjoyed a terrific beach, made new friends and learned a ton- it was a fantastic week for daughter, dad and grandma!

I encourage program planners to limit number of participants. Our group of 20 was perfect. I would have been extremely unhappy to be on a hot school bus with a much larger group. It was just under the comfort level if too hot without air conditioning. It must be insufferable in August.
