Markus is Swiss and came to Paris in 1977 to study theatre and mime. Now based in the Ardèche (Southern France), he organizes walking holidays with his wife from their historic restored farmhouse. For years, Markus has been travelling through Europe with American students, using his linguistic skills and being inspired by the diversity of European culture. He loves meeting people and enjoying the relaxed French way of life. In his spare time he is a jazz trumpet player.
