A thorough review of the end of WWI, adding much to my knowledge and inspiring me to learn more.

Before taking this trip with Road Scholar, I was feeling that my life consisted merely of endings: stopped working, grandchildren now adults, so not needed as much, cleaning out the house, discarding memories of the past, acclimating to widowhood. Voila! Going to Oxford was a beginning for me to meet new people and expand my knowledge of the world. Loved it and hope to do more of the same with your company in years to come. Thank you, Road Scholar!

I enjoyed the lectures, but the trip to France was not what I expected. It was about cemeteries and I wanted more about the battlefields.
