Taxi service is available directly at the airport from just outside the baggage claim and Ground Transportation area from the first flight in the morning until the last flight in the evening. Staff at the Ground Transportation booth can help you arrange a taxi when you land. A typical one way taxi into downtown Portland generally costs under approximately $20, plus a small airport surcharge. Taxis aren’t always super plentiful, especially in very early morning or late night hours, so if you need a specific time pickup it’s often a good idea to call ahead and reserve one.
