At Road Scholar, we develop learning adventures for those who want a depth of perspective not found on standard travel excursions. Working with expert faculty, we create one-of-a-kind experiences - rich, multifaceted investigations into every topic and destination.

That’s how we choose the members of our Road Scholar faculty—for the depth of their knowledge about a destination or subject and for their ability to captivate us while communicating that knowledge.

The Community

We call the lifelong learners who participate in our adventures Road Scholars because they are as fun and as stimulating as our learning adventures. Road Scholars are a diverse group of lifelong learners. They are solo travelers, couples, partners, or friends. They are retirees and busy professionals. They are farmers and urbanites. Intellectuals and adventurers. And together, they form a dynamic cohort that enriches every learning experience.
